ABOUT

BLACK POLITICS TODAY

is the only online magazine and talk show focused on the specific needs and welfare of African-Americans; highlighting ‘What’s at Stake,’ socially, economic, and politically for the black community. We present our audience with a clear perspective of the effects that public policies may have on them and their families. We believe that knowledge is indeed power – the better informed you are, the stronger you will be to actively participate in your future.

KELLY MIKEL WILLIAMS

CREATOR, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, & HOST

He is the host of the Black Politics Today weekly talk show, and the publisher of the bi-monthly Black Politics Today magazine, the only publication solely designed to address the social, economic, and political impact on the African-American community.  Kelly Mikel Williams saw a void in the education of the minority community about the effects that a lack of participation and understanding of public policy and the political process can, has, and will have on communities of color. BPT is the response to that void.
