We present our audience with a clear perspective of the effects that public policies may have on them and their families. He is the host of the Black Politics Today weekly talk show, and the publisher of the bi-monthly Black Politics Today magazine, the only publication solely designed to address the social, economic, and political impact on the African-American community. Kelly Mikel Williams saw a void in the education of the minority community about the effects that a lack of participation and understanding of public policy and the political process can, has, and will have on communities of color. BPT is the response to that void.
